Hugh S. Jamison, of Herlong, CA went to be with his LORD on April 29, 2023.
Born in Big Rapids, MI, on August 28, 1924, he is preceded in death by Maryann, his wife of 54 years, and his grandson David.
Survived by his sons, Dwight & his wife Carol of Reno, NV, Douglas & his wife Robin of Gaylord, MI, and Don & his wife Christy of Sacramento, CA, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held June 10, 2023, at 1:pm, Susanville First Southern Baptist Church, 1545 Cornell St., Susanville, Ca. Private graveside service to follow.
Since 1977 Hugh and Maryann volunteered numerous hours with California Southern Baptist Disaster Relief team, Baptist Men’s Ministry, Camp Alta Christian Camp. After Maryann passed, he volunteered at Pacific Island University in Guam, and assisted in planting of Palauan Services in Susanville.
