It’s time for Customer Appreciation Days
For more than 30 years the Lassen County Times advertising staff has come together with area businesses to host the annual Customer Appreciation Days. In this week’s editions of the Lassen County Times, Westwood PinePress and the Chester Progresive, you’ll find a special supplement with personal messages and advertisements from the 16 participating sponsors.
“I look forward to Customer Appreciation Days because we’re always striving to come up with fresh, creative ideas for the publication and for our $500 in Shopping Spree Giveaways,” said senior advertising consultant Laura Tew. “This year we thought it would be nice to give all of the sponsors a chance to include a personal message in their advertisements to let the community know just how much they appreciate their business.”
We have several new sponsors this year including Chickadee Design Center, Sierra Tan and Mountain Yoga Studio and Pet Station. Then we have our long time participants that include Susanville Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram, Sears Hometown Store, Sierra Jewelry Company, The Elegant Iris & Men’s Den, Zaengles Carpet One Floor & Home, Lassen Community College, Lassen Municipal Utility District, Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel, Susanville Supermarket IGA, Lassen County Times, Billington Ace Hardware and Margie’s Book Nook.
This week we encourage you to visit as many sponsors as possible and enter the shopping spree drawings. We will select one $100 and six $50 winners. If you cut out the entry form from the full color event ad on the back of the classified section telling us why you love shopping local at our sponsors and drop it in their drawing box, you could win one of four $25 shopping sprees too!
Plus there are thousands of dollars worth of great prizes and gift certificates that you can win at the participating sponsors in store drawings. On Friday, May 10, there will be complimentary appetizers while supplies last for your shopping enjoyment.
Every year shoppers drive in from Lassen and Plumas counties to enjoy the great discounts and try their luck at winning some prizes.
