JandJ Performing Arts recently competed at Spotlight Dance Competition in Reno at the Grand Sierra Resort, and while competing against some of the top dance schools in Northern Nevada and California, JandJ took home big wins.
Junior soloist Kissy Baesman took home the top overall Junior solo award, beating out more than 22 dancers for this spot.
The team placed in the top spot for musical theatre, large group jazz, small group lyrical and junior solo.
Soloist Kaylee Micone, Kissy Baesman and Parker Foreman all received judged awards.
Kissy Baesman and Parker Foreman received top awards of Diamonds for their solos.
The Junior routine White Flag placed first in the overall for large group jazz.
Mini Soloist Emi Chandler placed 10th in the overall.
JandJ Performing Arts has competed at two live competitions this season 2021 and will compete in two more and at nationals.
“We have always been so appreciative of our communities support as we take dance from our small town to the big stages of National Dance Competitions,” wrote JandJ Performing Arts owner Jessica Newton-Wade.
