JandJ Performing Arts dancers attend competitions

JandJ Performing Arts Competitive Team dancers attended two back-to-back dance conventions in Reno, Nevada this past month.

The JandJ Junior team recently attended Kids Artistic Review Dance Convention in Reno.

The mini and junior teams attended Kids Artistic Review Dance Convention and trained with master teachers, Pytron Parker an award winning choreographer and performer for “West Side Story,” “In the Heights,” “Ragtime,” “Hairspay” and many more. Pytron gave the dancers powerful hip hop classes.

Their tap teacher, Raymon Ashley, has danced in music videos and commercials, making a steady career from booking Los Angelese based dance work.

The JandJ dancers came back with one hefty scholarship awarded to Kissy Baesman and so much dance knowledge to use in their JandJ training.
