Six people injured in a 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 1 crash at Johnstonville Road and Skyline Extension were transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center for medical treatment, according to a statement from the Susanville Police Department.
Upon arrival at the accident scene, officers located two vehicles involved in the collision. Medical personnel were immediately requested for numerous patients. CalFire personnel, with the assistance of the Susanville Fire Department, assisted in the extraction of the driver and the passenger of a 2006 Toyota Prius. The four occupants of the other vehicle, a 2018 Dodge truck, were able to self-extricate themselves.
All involved parties were taken to Banner Lassen Medical Center for medical treatment, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
