On Monday, May 12, the city of Susanville announced the appointment of Susanville Police Chief Kevin Jones as interim city administrator on its Facebook page.
Jones will fill the role while the city recruits and hires a new city administrator to replace Mike Wilson who is retiring.
According to the Facebook post, the city is currently working on opening the Diamond Mountain Golf Course, including the rental of golf carts.
According to Jones, “There will be COVID-19 preventative measures and rules in place until further notice. We hope to have the course open this week.”
Jones did not return the Lassen County Times’ call seeking more information for this story.
