Jones: State budget surplus could provide $1,125 to every Californian

State Senator Brian W. Jones today released the latest edition of his acclaimed “Are You Kidding Me?” video series providing thought-provoking ideas and questioning government actions and decisions that sometimes just don’t make any sense.

Today’s AYKM has to do with the state’s $45 billion budget surplus and what it could mean to the lives of Californians if we simply returned the money to the taxpayers. In the video, Jones uses grains of rice to show the magnitude of the surplus.
