The Lassen County Junior Fair Board is hosting a Cattle Skills Day where the public can learn about the raising cattle and the industry.
From 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. April 25, the event, which is open to the public, will feature information like biosecurity and cattle health, how to prepare and show steer for fair, the dairy industry, cuts of meat, quality of feed and more.
The event is open to all ages, and there will be prizes and take home information available.
