News Kevin Jones appointed police chief November 20, 2018 Staff Kevin Jones is officially the new Susanville Police Chief.Interim City Administrator Dan Newton announced in a Tuesday, Nov. 20 statement Jones was appointed to fill the position.The Susanville City Council took action approving the appointment during a Tuesday closed session meeting.Jones is scheduled to assume the office Friday, Nov. 30. The formal badge pinning will take place at the council’s regular meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 5.
