The Lassen College women’s soccer team finished their season with a game at Feather River College Friday, Nov. 10.

The away game was a 3-0 loss for the Cougars with one Feather River goal scored in the first half and two scored in the second.

Lassen’s main 11 on the field included Eva Steffen, Veronica Yanez, Elaoghaire Dunphy, Brianna Mendonca, Serena Valdez, Emily Upstone, Natalie Avila, Antonia Marro, Beatriz Moraes, Brenna Mendonca and keeper Freja Magnussen.

In total, Magnussen endured 12 shots on goal, of which she saved nine.

On the other end of the field, the Feather River keeper had shots on goal made by the Cougars. However, she was quick on her toes, so neither Cougar goal was successful.

The Lassen ladies finished their season with a conference record of 3-9 and an overall record of 5-13-1.

Lassen finished sixth of the seven Golden Valley Conference teams. They beat out the College of the Siskiyous with two wins.
