LaMalfa announces Congressional Art Competition winner

Congressman Doug LaMalfa congratulated Forest Wong for winning this year’s Congressional Art Competition.

Her piece, titled “Liberty,” will be displayed in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. for one year. Forest attends Oroville High School in Oroville, California.

“Congratulations to Forest Wong for winning this year’s Congressional Art Competition,” LaMalfa said. “Of the many deserving submissions, Forest’s piece, ‘Liberty,’ best answered the question, ‘What does liberty mean to you?’ I look forward to seeing Forest’s artwork hang in the U.S. Capitol for all visitors to admire over the next year.”
