As of the Friday, Sept. 10 numbers updated Monday, there are 167 active community cases of COVID-19 in Lassen County, 2,740 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations and there have been 29 deaths: A total of 2,942 community case.
About 14 percent of the active and hospitalized cases are fully vaccinated.
Additionally, there have been 7,625 single vaccine doses administered by Lassen County Public Health. This does not reflect the vaccines provided by other organizations in the area. The local public health department is still offering vaccines, and appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov.
At the local correctional institutions, Lassen Cares reports there is 0 active cases, 2,036 recovered and two deaths at High Desert State Prison. Additionally, there are 9 active cases and 1,373 recovered cases at CCC, and 0 active and 235 recovered at FCI Herlong.
