Lassen Cares announces 19 new community cases: 174 active, 2,851 recovered

As of the Wednesday, Sept. 15 numbers shared by Lassen Cares, there are 174 active community cases of COVID-19 in Lassen County, 2,851 recovered, 5 current hospitalizations and there have been 30 deaths: A total of 3,060 community cases — an increase of 19 new cases.

About 11 percent of the active cases are fully vaccinated residents, and 0 percent of current hospitalized residents are fully vaccinated, according to Lassen Cares.

At the local correctional institutions, Lassen Cares reports there are 2 active cases, 2,041 recovered and two deaths at High Desert State Prison. Additionally, there are 2 active cases and 1,422 recovered cases at CCC, and 58 active and 235 recovered at FCI Herlong.
