Lassen Cares reports 10 active cases, 2,172 recovered

In the span of four days, Lassen Cares announced seven new community COVID-19 cases, and a decrease in current hospitalizations.

As of the July 6 update, there are 10 active COVID-19 community cases in Lassen County, 2,172 recovered, no current hospitalizations and there have been 24 deaths: A total of 2,206 community cases.
Additionally, there have been 7,333 vaccine doses administered by Lassen County Public Health. This does not reflect the vaccines provided by other organizations in the area. The local public health department is still offering vaccines, and appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov. Lassen Cares noted recent active hospitalized patients were unvaccinated and not considered high risk.

At the local correctional institutions, Lassen Cares reports there are 0 active cases, 2,024 recovered and two deaths at High Desert State Prison. Additionally, there are 9 active cases and 1,356 recovered cases at CCC, and 0 active and 235 recovered at FCI Herlong.
