There were 10 new community cases reported Monday, Lassen cares shared, bringing the current active number of community cases to 22.
As of the Aug. 2 update, there are 22 active cases in Lassen County, 2,216 recovered, three current hospitalizations and there have been 24 deaths: A total of 2,265 community cases.
Additionally, there have been 7,415 vaccine doses administered by Lassen County Public Health. This does not reflect the vaccines provided by other organizations in the area. The local public health department is still offering vaccines, and appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov.
At the local correctional institutions, Lassen Cares reports there are 0 active cases, 2,024 recovered and two deaths at High Desert State Prison. Additionally, there are 0 active cases and 1,366 recovered cases at CCC, and 0 active and 235 recovered at FCI Herlong.
