Lassen Cares reports 14 active, 2,158 recovered community cases

As of the June 28 update, there are 14 active COVID-19 community cases in Lassen County, 2,158 recovered, one current hospitalization and there have been 24 deaths: A total of 2,197 community cases — an increase of six new cases.
Additionally, there have been 7,297 vaccine doses administered by Lassen County Public Health. This does not reflect the vaccines provided by other organizations in the area. The local public health department is still offering vaccines, and appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov. Lassen Cares noted the active hospitalized patients are unvaccinated and not considered high risk.

At the local correctional institutions, Lassen Cares reports there are 0 active cases, 2,024 recovered and two deaths at High Desert State Prison. Additionally, there are 13 active cases and 1,348 recovered cases at CCC, and 0 active and 235 recovered at FCI Herlong.
