Lassen Cares reports two new cases: Six active, 2,065 recovered

As of the 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 update, there are six active COVID-19 community cases, 2,065 recovered, one current hospitalization and there have been 22 deaths: A total of 2,094 community cases — an increase of two new cases since the Monday update.
Additionally, there have been 6,450 vaccines administered by Lassen County Public Health. This does not reflect the vaccines provided by other organizations in the area.

At the local correctional institutions, Lassen Cares reports there are 0 active cases, 2,024 recovered and two deaths at High Desert State Prison. Additionally, 0 active cases and 1,332 recovered cases at CCC, and zero active and 235 recovered at FCI Herlong.

Positive correctional staff tests, if they live in Lassen County, are included in the community cases. As of the April 23 update, according to the CDCR COVID-19 tracker, at CCC there are currently three active staff cases, and nine active staff cases at HDSP.
