Lassen Community College Athletics announces Athletic Summer Camps
Do you want to improve your athletic skills? Then you won’t want to miss the Lassen Community College Athletic Summer Camps.
Baseball Athletic Camp — June 13-16 — Memorial Park — $75
The Baseball Athletic Camp is designed for players between the ages of 7 and 13. It will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Monday, June 13 through Thursday, June 16 at Memorial Park.
Topics covered include bunting, pitching and catching. Gear needed: Catchers gear (if necessary), cleats, glove, baseball pants, hat a daily snack and water. The cost is $75. Wrestling Athletic Camp — June 16-18 — LCC Gym — $150
The Wrestling Athletic Camp is for students in the 4ththrough the 12th grades. It will be held Thursday, June 16 through Saturday, June 18 at the LCC gym. This camp is designed to give wrestlers mat time and to learn high level techniques and skills. This will also be an opportunity for team building and bonding in a fun, as well as competitive environment. Day 1 – Check in from 1 to 2:30 p.m.; 3 to 4:30 p.m. Session 1: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Session II: Day 2 – 9 to 11:30 a.m. Session III; 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Session IV: Day 3 – 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Session V: 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Checkout. Co-ed Basketball Athletic Camp — June 20-23 – LCC Gym — $75
The Co-ed Athletic Basketball camp is for players between the ages of 12 and 18, and will be held between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 20 through Thursday, June 23 at the LCC gym. Girls Basketball Athletic Camp — June 27-30 — LCC Gym — $75
The Girls Basketball Athletic Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to Noon Monday June 27 through Thursday, June 30 in the LCC Gym. The camp is designed for players between the ages of 8 and 17. Volleyball Athletic Camp — Aug. 3-4 — LCC Gym — $40
The Volleyball Athletic Camp for players in the 9th through 12th grades will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 and Thursday, Aug. 4 at the LCC Gym. The cost is $40.
