Lassen Community College hosts Friday blood drive

Looking for an opportunity to donate blood? Lassen Community College is hosting an upcoming Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 3.

The drive is set to take place in the lower parking lot by the Sports Complex.

“Natural disasters like wildfire and hurricanes often force Vitalant to cancel blood drives in affected areas. It’s important for donors to give regularly to maintain an adequate supply at all times. We have 20 open appointment slots for this Friday,” LCC shared on its social media.

Appointments are recommended to ensure social distancing, but walk ins are welcomed.
