Lassen Community College invites students to re-enrollment day

Lassen Community College announces its upcoming Re- Enrollment Day event will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 on the LCC campus, according to a statement from the college.

Re-Enrollment Day is designed for students who have not been enrolled since Fall 2022 or earlier and are interested in re-engaging with their studies. The event aims to provide returning students with the guidance they need to restart their educational journeys and prepare for a successful Fall 2023 semester.

“We’re excited to welcome back our students who’ve been away and help them to reignite their educational passions,” said LCC President Carrie Camacho. “Our support team will be on hand to assist with any queries and to ensure the re-enrollment process is as smooth as possible.”

To further encourage re-enrollment, the college is offering an incentive of up to $500 in bookstore credit to returning students enrolling for six or more credits in the Fall 2023 semester. This credit can be used for purchasing essential academic materials and supplies.

On the day, attendees can expect assistance from a range of departments including Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, Academic Counseling, Enrollment Services, EOPS, Student Health Services, University Transfer Center, Cashiers, Transcript Evaluation Office and Dual Enrollment.

In addition to the core re-enrollment activities, the event will feature free food for all registering students and engaging activities for children, enabling parents to focus on their re-enrollment.

Potential new students are encouraged to apply at least 1-2 days prior to the event unless they require on-site application support. More information on the LCC application process can be found on the college’s website.

“Whether you’re returning to finish a degree, start a new program, or continue your lifelong learning journey, Lassen College is ready to support your next steps,” Camacho added. “We look forward to seeing you on campus and being part of your future success.”
