The Lassen County Arts Council announced its fall events ‚ so far, at its gallery at 807 Cottage St.
The Lassen County Arts Councils seeks submission for a Day of the Dead exhibition.
Sept 1 – Oct. 15 — Mixed Art Exhibit featuring Randy Panfillo, Camille Jauregui and Sara Filce. An artists’ reception will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
Saturday, Sept. 10 — Mural Tour, hosted by local historian Janet Corey. Optional items to bring include a folding chair, water and a light jacket. The event is free and mural books are available for $20. Participants are asked to call 257-5222 to reserve a spot.
Oct. 15 — Sugar Skull Art Classes. Call to artists. Dia de los Muertos art and altar installations planned for late October. Email images of your art or reserve space for an altar by contacting [email protected].
Oct. 21 — Comic Character Drawing Class.
The gallery is open from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
