Lassen County Public Health is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccine requests from those 65 years and older, or those in open tiers on the local vaccine schedule.
Those who wish to make an appointment request should visit Lassencares.org and submit their information, or call 249-8628.
As of Thursday evening, Phase 1A tiers 1, 2 and 3 are open.
This will be based according to eligibility and vaccine availability.
“I will say on the outset that we do not have enough vaccines to cover everyone in Lassen County that is 65 years and older and want a vaccine,” wrote Health and Social Services Director Barbara Longo. “To help us determine how many vaccines we need, and to manage the doses we have we are asking people to request an appointment to get vaccinated. They can do this online at lassencares.org or call 249-8628 to get on the list.”
