REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR

CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR DESIGN, SURVEYING AND ENGINEERING

The Lassen Transit Service Agency (LTSA) is now accepting proposals from all interested providers for consultant services for the design, surveying and engineering services for the “Bus Stop Improvements project”.

Proposal information and RFP packages can be obtained from the Lassen Transit Service Agency, 707 Nevada Street, Suite 4, Susanville, CA  96130 or downloaded at www.lassentransportation.com/ltsa. Potential proposers must register with the LTSA in order to be notified of addenda and other notices. To register, please send an email to [email protected] indicating “Bus Stop Improvements RFP Registration”  in the subject field. Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked “LASSEN BUS STOP IMPROVEMENTS BID PROPOSAL” and submitted to the Lassen Transit Service Agency, 707 Nevada Street, Suite 4, Susanville, CA 96130 by 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at which time they will be opened and referred to the evaluating committee. The LTSA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE

PROPOSED TO BE ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 19, 2019

BY THE LASSEN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The proposed ordinance repeals and replaces Lassen County Code section 3.18.020 (Planning Department fees) and adds section 3.18.130 (Surveyor fees) to raise user fees for applications submitted to the Department for projects benefiting private property owners and not the general public.  The ordinance will also amend section 3.18.100 (Waiver or Refund of Fees). The ordinance is limited to planning and surveying fees. This ordinance amendment is county wide (File #335.09).
