NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND HEARING
The Plumas County Community Development Commission (PCCDC) invites public comment on the Commission’s Annual Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing Programs for the period 7/1/2019 to 6/30/2020. These documents will be available for review during normal business hours at PCCDC’s main office, 183 West Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971.
The PCCDC Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing and will consider adoption of the Plan at a Regular Meeting on March 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers – 3rd floor, County Court House, 520 W. Main St. Quincy, CA. The Plan reviews the program goals of the previous Year’s Plan and sets goals for next year.
Individuals with impaired hearing and/or speech impediments and having a Telecommunication Device for The Deaf (TDD) may dial 1(800) 735-2929 to reach the Commission. NOTICE OF AIRPORT COMMISSION VACANCIES
The City of Susanville is inviting applications from the public for service on the Susanville Municipal Airport Commission as a Commissioner or Alternate. If you have an interest in aviation, serving on the Airport Commission is a valuable opportunity to participate in local planning and decision making for the operation of this vital community asset. The Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council and contributes to short and long term goals for the regulation and expansion of business and development at the Airport.
The Airport Commission consists of five community residents and one alternate member and at a minimum, members must reside within 15 miles of the city limits. Responsibilities include attendance at meetings and reviewing airport activities. The Airport Commission’s regular meetings are held every other month on the second Thursday at 5:15 p.m.

CATTLE GRAZING – SUSANVILLE RANCH PARK
The County of Lassen intends to enter a Spring cattle grazing lease at Susanville Ranch Park for the following time period; June 3, 2019 thru June 30, 2019. The grazing areas are located in the vicinity of Paiute Creek, immediately northwest of the City of Susanville. The Susanville Ranch Park is open to the public as a multiuse non-motorized recreation area.
Feed supply is estimated to sustain approximately 60 cows for a period of four weeks. Bids will be accepted for a minimum of 50 cows and a maximum of 90 cows, with the stipulation that the duration of occupancy will be adjusted to accommodate the proposed number of cows relative to the amount of feed available. The County of Lassen will retain the authority to determine the location and period of livestock use to meet the objectives of the Grazing/Range Plan for the Park.

The City of Susanville is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the City of Susanville Planning Commission. The Planning Commission consists of five members who are responsible for advising the City Council and making decisions for the City in the area of land use, environmental review and development. The Commissioners are appointed by a quorum of the City Council, and at a minimum, responsibilities include attendance at two monthly meetings and reviewing development projects. The Planning Commission’s meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. All Commissioners must be residents of the City of Susanville.

The Lassen County Department of Public Works is now accepting proposals for a consultant or a consulting firm to complete the necessary environmental studies, prepare the required environmental documents, and assist with project construction permitting for the proposed Whitehead Slough Bridge 7C-70 Replacement Project on Capezzoli Lane, County Road 306. This project is located in Lassen County near the town of Standish, approximately 16 miles east of the City of Susanville. These studies shall include, at a minimum, a Cultural Resources Studies, a Biological Resources Studies (including a Wetlands Report), a Geotechnical Studies, and a Location and Hydraulic Studies.
This work is subject to State contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990.
Lassen County has a 11 % goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation for this project.
