The hiring bonus will be paid: $2,500 on the first payroll check, $2,500 on successful completion of a one-year probationary period and $5,000 on successful completion of the third year of service at a full-time correctional deputy.
The salary range is $23,67 to $31.23 per hour. Other salary information includes bilingual pay, education incentive pay, longevity pay, paid vacation, sick leave and bereavement leave, CalPERS retirement and county contributions that can be applied to offset insurance premiums, daycare costs, a secondary retirement account and more.
