Lassen County Sheriff’s Posse hosts Junior Fun Day

The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office hosts the annual Junior Fun Day Sunday, April 30 at the Lassen County Fair Rodeo Grounds.

According to a Facebook post, registration begins at 9 a.m. and the event starts at 10 a.m. The ages of participants range from 1-year-old to 18-years old. Events include run, ride, lead; barrels; pole bending; steer dobbing; boot race; goat un-decorating and tying; and steer riding.

Tickets are sold at the event for a chance to win half a beef, and a delicious lunch will be prepared by the Lassen Sheriff’s Posse.
