According to a statement from Lassen Family Servies, “As many of you know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Lassen Family Services hosts a variety of awareness events.
Please feel free to participate in any event you can and remember to wear purple every Friday to help raise awareness of domestic violence (and post your photo on social media — #lassenfamilyservices #dvawareness).
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, “In the United States, more than 10 million adults experience domestic violence annually.”
