April events presented by Lassen Family Services include:
Lassen County Child Abuse Prevention Council’s Wear Blue Day on Friday, April 1 (wear blue and post your picture on social media to show your support for child abuse prevention with the hashtag #WearBlueAgainstChildAbuseLassen); and the Lassen Family Services’ Stand Up! Against Child Abuse event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at 1306 Riverside Drive. This event is free event for all ages including face painting, blue handprints on canvas, painting pinwheels, fingerprint kits, lawn activities, and more; hot dogs; and special visitors Dandy the Dragon, the Tooth Fairy, Jeremy the Germ, Smokey the Bear, Fluoride the Bunny, Batman, Captain American, Starlord, D.A.R.E. Humvee, CHP, Sheriff’s Posse, Fire Department with a fire truck, McCracken Racing and Forest Cops.
