Lassen Family Services launches new parent support group

Lassen Family Services announced it is starting a free parent support group that will meet at 3 p.m. every Friday beginning July 2 at LFS, 1306 Riverside Drive in Susanville.

According to a statement from LFS, the group is open to all types of parents/guardians. Participants will be led in group discussions through a 12-week curriculum addressing aspects from how to connect with your child to the negative impacts of social media.

LFS believes this will provide guardians with the ability to share with and learn from one another so they know they are not alone.

If you or anyone you know is interested in joining the group, call LFS at 257-4599 and ask for Rikki.
