Lassen Fire Safe Council holds April 17 General Meeting

The Lassen Fire Safe Council holds its monthly general meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at the Susan River Fire Protection District Office, 705-145 Highway 395 in Johnstonville.

Items on the agenda include the Managing Director Reports (CalFire Grants — Hog and Sheep Fiore Restoration, Dyer Mountain WUI Fuels Treatment, Whitmore Forest and Watershed Restoration and Clear Creek and Hog Flat Fuel Treatment), (SNC Grants — Bootsole, East Side Communities and Diamond Mountain), (Other — Honey Lake RCD-SPA, California Fiore Safe Council-County Coordinator, Defensible Space Assistance Grant, USFS Cradle Valley/Bootsole Dixie Fire Salvage and CWPP); Closed Out Projects (Thompson Peak WUI Fuel Treatments, and Diamond Mountain Forest and Watershed Restoration); New Planned/Awarded Projects; Agency Updates (BLM, CalFire, SNC, NE CA Fire Prevention, USFS, Susan River FPD, Honey Lake Power, Beaty, Lassen County, Honey Lake Valley RCD, SIR, Red Cross and Firewise Community Leaders); Other (Announcement of community funds distribution to Firewise Communities and volunteer fire departments/ districts); and Public Comment.
