Who will be crowned Miss Lassen County 2023?
Junior and senior girls if you are interested in being a title holder, winning scholarship money and representing your community, then don’t forget to turn in your Miss Lassen County application by June 2 to Mrs. Bennett in Room 115.

Senior PromThe Senior Prom is from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at Far Far Away Ranch. Bids are available for purchase at the ASB counter. Cost is $30 single, $50 couple.

Attention Seniors
If you plan on taking a guest from another school to your Prom, you will need to pick up the guest request form from Carol in the ASB office. The completed form will then need to be turned in by the end of lunch on the Wednesday before the prom.

Seniors
Final payment of $100 for Senior Trip is due by May 15 to the ASB counter.

Yearbooks are $100. There is a limited supply. If you have not pre-ordered you can still purchase one with Carol in the ASB office. If you have signed up for yearbook or are interested in yearbook for the 2023- 2024 school year, see Mrs. Schall in Room 113 anytime this week.

Looking for a prom dress? Lassen Family Services clothing closet is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment. Everything is free and does not need to be returned. LFS is located at 1306 Riverside Drive. to make an appointment, call 257-4599.

Grizzliette Show is at 7 p.m. Friday, May 10.

Do you want to be a Grizzliette next school year? Tryouts start at 3:30 p.m. May 22 in the small gym. Get your clearance card from the ASB counter.

Cheer tryouts will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20. Get your pink slips at the ASB Office.

Our very own Lassen High Choir will be performing its Spring Concert oat 6 p.m.  Wednesday, May 10, at the United Methodist Church on Lassen Street. Admission is free.

AP Exams
Students taking AP Exams will need to leave at 11:15 to have time for lunch, then report to the District Office boardroom in time to start test at noon. Teachers have a list of students testing. Today’s exam is psychology.

All Students
Friday, May 19 will be a Chalk Pastel Art Day where you will have the opportunity to draw an 18”x 18” school appropriate drawing of your choice on the zig zag cement wall leading to the 700 building. We encourage all artistic students to join us in creating a temporary outdoor gallery at LHS. To be a part of this fun art event, bring a sketch or picture of your intended drawing to Ms. Weiher, Rooms 716 and 717, by Tuesday, May 16. The event takes place during first through fourth period Friday, May 19. For more information, see Ms. Weiher in the Art and Ceramics Rooms.
