Lassen Cares, the county’s COVID-19 reporting site, updated the current pandemic numbers as of 4:36 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10.
Lassen Cares Facebook page reports 72 total community cases — 14 active and 58 recovered; 611 total inmate cases — 138 active cases and 467 recovered cases at the California Correctional Center; one active case and four recovered cases at High Desert State Prison; and one active case at the Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong.
The county has administered 5,079 tests, and 4,882 have been negative and test results are pending on 34tests.
A total of 236 serology tests have been administered (looking for antibodies), and there have been two positive results and 234 negative results.
