It’s become an annual tradition in Susanville — Lassen Rural Bus offering free rides to and from New Year’s Eve parties for city residents and those who live in Johnstonville and the Richmond Road areas.
LRB just wants to make sure everyone in Susanville has a safe New Year’s Eve celebration.
There is no charge for the shuttle service — which begins at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 and ends about 2:30 a.m. Jan. 1 — so residents can get to and from celebrations at a friend’s home or public parties.
But note — the shuttle service is a curb-to-curb service and the bus driver will not come to your door to pick up or drop you off. LRB will make its best effort to accommodate the time of your request.
