Lassencares updates COVID-19 numbers

Lassencares, the county’s COVID-19 reporting site, provided an up update at 7:24 p.m. Thursday, July 29.

According to the latest available numbers, Lassen County has 59 total cases — 14 active and 45 recovered.

Lassen County’s prisons report a total of 571 inmate cases. The California Correctional Center has 384 total cases — 183 active and 384 recovered. High Desert State Prison has four total cases — zero active and four recovered. The Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong has one active case.

Excluding tests administered at the correctional institutions, there have been 4,732 tests in Lassen County with 4,500 negative tests and 173 test results pending.

There have been 236 serology tests for COVID-19 antibodies — with two positive results and 234 negative results.

 

Drive-through test clinics

Lassen County’s Public Health Department offers drive-through COVID-19 testing from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 3 and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 4.
