If you’re looking for a career in fire service, the Spring 2023 CalFire Academy at Lassen Community College may be the answer.
The LCC Fire Technology Program and the CalFire Lassen Modoc Unit host the seven-week academy Monday through Friday Jan. 9 through March 3 at the Devil’s Garden CalFire Facility in Alturas, California. Students will participate in the CalFire Orientation; Firefighter 1A; Structure, Firefighter 1B; Haz Mat FRO; and Firefighter 1C.
