LCSO releases February crime statistics

The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office recently released crime statistics for the month of February.

Lassen County Jail
The average daily population in the Lassen County Jail was 90 inmates — 51 felons, 38 misdemeanor and 89 bookings.

911 Dispatch Center
The 911 Dispatch Center received 3,357 total calls — 2,271 non-emergency calls and 1,086 911 calls for an average of 120 calls per day.

Patrol Operations
The LCSO received 306 calls for service, had 259 officer-initiated incidents, made 26 felony arrests, 23 misdemeanor arrests, issued 27 citations and handle four coroner’s cases.
