Lassen Family Services is excited to join forces for the Lassen County Collaborative Healthcare Fair, a community event held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at the Susanville Indian Rancheria Gym in Susanville.
According to a statement from LFS, “Our goal is to bring together the members of our community, to bring awareness to the public on the availability and types of resources afforded to the low income and at-risk populations in our area. We will have representatives from public health services, medical and dental clinics, addiction counseling and outreach programs, community housing and transportation services, along with other local and independent providers.
“Each vendor will have a space to set up a booth for volunteers to distribute educational materials and informative literature or offer free services to attendees. To promote community participation, we would also love to encourage a variety of fun activities for children, provide some healthy snacks and bring a prize to raffle off at the end of the event. Please keep in mind that this is a free event for the members of our community.”
