Angela Reed, executive director of Lassen Family Services announced Monday, July 27 employees from the agency were staying home or working remotely to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
According to a statement from Reed, “As most of you know, we are an umbrella agency with several different programs all geared to serving our community. This has not changed. Our staff will conduct counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy and referrals over the phone or online. When necessary, staff will respond in person. Signs have been posted on all outside entrances directing people on how to contact us. We are still available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Individuals and other agencies may contact us through our office phone during regular business hours at 257-4599. After hours and weekends, please call our crisis line at 257-5004 or (888) 289-5004.
“If an individual is affiliated with another agency and needs personal contact for one of our specific programs, please call our main office and we will be able to provide the information.”
