Lassen Family Services hosts a Crisis Intervention Peer Counselor Training from Aug. 23 to Sept. 3. This training will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Lassen Family Services office, located at 1306 Riverside Drive.
Those who complete the training can become a California Certified Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Counselor & Crisis Line Volunteer under Evidence Codes 1035 and 1037 providing crisis intervention to victims of crime.
