LFS hosts LGBTQ+ training at LCC tomorrow

Lassen Family Services hosts a free LGBTQ+ Sensitivity training at 5 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Lassen Community College.

Those attending this free event can learn about the issues surrounding the LGBTQ+ community, gender and sexuality terminology, resources and tangible strategies to support the LGBTQ+ community to be an ally. This training is great for everyone including educators, law enforcement, social service agencies, parents and students.

According to a statement from LFS, “Feel free to share this information with everyone and sign up while there’s still time! Register for the training at LFSLGBTQ.eventbrite.com.”
