Grizzly Artists
Homecoming is almost here and we will be having a Chalk Pastel Art Day to help decorate our campus. On Monday Oct. 3 we will be creating chalk artworks following the theme of Lights, Camera, Lassen on the cement wall leading to the 700 building. We encourage all of you who enjoy creating art to join us in creating a temporary outdoor gallery at LHS. To be a part of this fun event, bring a sketch or picture of your intended chalk art to Ms. Weiher in Rooms 716 and 717 by Tuesday, Sept. 27 for approval. Spots are limited, so get your drawing in ASAP to be able to participate. We will be creating our artworks during first through fourth periods Monday, Oct. 3.
Homecoming Dance
The Homecoming Dance is Oct. 8. Come join us at the Veteran’s Hall for a night at the Oscars. This is a semi-formal, and we encourage you to come dressed as your favorite movie star or character. There will be Oscars awarded for the best individual costume, best duo, best group, best impersonation and best red-carpet walk. There will be a DJ, games, prizes, food and a professional photo booth. Each bid entitles you to a free strip of photos at the photo booth with additional strips available for a minimal fee.
