Winterfest Spirit Week
Thursday, Jan. 13 — Anything but a backpack – Carry your stuff in anything but a backpack to school.
Friday, Jan. 14 — Anything but the truth – White lies school appropriate.
Moonlight Masquerade
Prom bids are on sale! The Class of 2023 invites you to join them at a Moonlight Masquerade winter prom for everyone held at the Elks Lodge in Uptown Susanville from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29. Gather your group or ask your person. Dress is semi-formal to formal, and tickets go on sale this month.
If you are on the holds list for a book, computer, uniform, food, etc., you will not be able to purchase a prom ticket. See Amy in the library to clear your hold.
Bio Trip TAs
Seniors interested in being a TA on the Bio Trip, sign up in Mr. McCullough’s room by Wednesday, Jan. 19. Eleventh and 10th grade TAs will be selected once all senior candidates have been considered.
Counseling news
Seniors — A new scholarship is available from the Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California.
Criteria: Be of Portuguese descent, have at least a 3.50 and participate in three extracurricular activities. Come by the counseling office to pick up an application or if you have questions.
