Brett was born Jan. 29, 1967 in Chester, California to Larry and Ann Cantrell of Westwood, California. He was the youngest of three boys. He graduated from Westwood High School class of 1967. Brett was a long time resident of Lassen County.
Brett’s greatest joy was helping anyone who needed it. He was always fixing and inventing tools.
Brett was proceeded in death by his father Larry and Barbara Cantrell, his stepfather Virgil Simon, his grandparents Howard and Shirley Long, Lowell and Millie Ingersoil and Lawrence Cantrell.
Brett also had many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brett is survived by his son Adam James Cantrell, his mother, Ann Simon, of Susanville, his brothers Jeff and Adam Drew Cantrell both of Chester, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
