Deborah Lynn Rivas was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Aug. 4, 1958, and passed on Feb. 8, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Daniel Rivas; parent, Robert Carlson; her siblings, Jeff and Lori Carlson; her sons, Jason and Nathan Rivas; and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
Deborah was a graduate of Leland High School in San Jose, California, and attended San Jose City College acquiring her AA degree in dental assisting. She worked in the dental field for 25 years before moving to Susanville, working her way up to become an administrative assistant for the Lassen County Solid Waste Department.
She will always be remembered for her kindness, love of people and dedication to work. Per her wishes, there will be no services held.
