Lorena Lee (Luke) Millar passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Lorena was a fourth generation Lassen County resident born to Loren “Buzz” and Doris (McQueen) Luke on Aug. 4, 1938.
Lorena graduated from Lassen High School in 1956. Lorena and Doug retired in 1993 after more than 30 years of running Millar Hardware.
Lorena enjoyed helping her children with their various activities including being their Campfire and Cub Scout leader. She never missed her kids’ or grandkids’ sports events or other adventures they were involved in.
Lorena enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, and camping with her family.
Lorena is survived by her husband of 63 years, Douglas Millar; children, Linda (Galen) Roberts; Larry (Bonnie Lou) Millar; Darrel (Cindy) Millar; and Cheryl (Steve) Phillips; grandchildren, Michelle (Mike), Clinton (Amy), Emily (Andy), Kayla, Amy, Scott, Karly, Justin, Jason, and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Caitlyn, McKenzie, Annabelle, and Taylor.
