LMUD announces Tuesday meeting

The Lassen Municipal Utility District Board of Directors holds a regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at the district office at 65 S. Roop St. and via teleconference at130 Twain Store Road, space Sugar Pine, Twain, California.

Items on the agenda include a public hearing to consider adjustment to the district’s net energy excess rate for net metering and distributed generation customers; staff member reports; board member reports; approval of the minutes for the Aug. 22 and Sept. 6 meetings; a financial report from the accounting and finance manager; a report from the general manager; a report from the electric operations manager; and a report from the business manager.

More items include discussion of the updated Skedaddle substation budget; a discussion of the 2022-2023 budget to actual comparison; approval of the interim joint general manager’s temporary compensation; authorization of a $260,580 bid to Sierra Utility Sales for disconnect switches to royal switchgear including additional testing not included in original price; authorize a civil construction agreement with NV Energy; a discussion of vegetation management; and a conference with legal counsel regarding two cases of significant exposure to litigation.

The board will hold a special board meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 and a regular board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24.
