LMUD board considers another rate increase at Tuesday evening’s meeting

The Lassen Municipal Utility District Board of Directors host a regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Among items on the agenda are two possible rate increases — a quarterly review of the district’s KWH charge and setting a date to hold a public hearing to adjust the publicly owned utility district’s energy charges.

Other items on the agenda include public comment; staff member reports; board member reports; minutes; a financial report; a report from the general manager; a report from the electric operations manager; an updated wage schedule for non-union employees; a new lease agreement with Parady Welding and Fabrication for the building at 1555 Chestnut St.; and a closed session conference with legal counsel regarding two cases of potential litigation.

The board’s next meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28.
