UPDATE 7 p.m.: According to LMUD, “LMUD remains on emergency power. We will continue with rolling blackouts throughout tonight. Due to the Dixie Fire, our connection to the grid remains unstable and may fail without notice. Our operations department has been in contact with HLP – progress has been made on repairs. HLP is testing their equipment and will provide us with an update tomorrow morning.”
—— The Lassen Municipal Utility District System continues to receive emergency power, but the connection remains fragile.
“As of this morning our system remains on emergency power. We will continue rolling blackouts and intermittent power. Due to the Dixie Fire, our connection to the grid is fragile, and may fail without notice. Unless conditions change, we will update this message again at 4:30 p.m. today,” read the morning update from LMUD.
