LMUD islands with Honey Lake Power

The Lassen Municipal Utility District has islanded with Honey Lake Power beginning at 7 a.m. today, Monday, June 12 when the LMUD system also disconnected from the PG&E system.

This islanding event will allow PG&E crews to perform maintenance on the Caribou transmission line. LMUD is scheduled to return to the PG&E grid about 1 p.m.  June 23.

Since this is a planned islanding, we do not anticipate any change or interruption in service for our customers.
