Local CHP officer receives sixth Mothers Against Drunk Drivers award

A local California Highway Patrol officer received his sixth MADD award recently.

In a Tuesday night announcement,  Susanville CHP office recognized Officer A. McLain for recently receiving the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) award this year.

Officer McLain made 37 arrests for impaired driving this past year.

Susanville CHP Area Commander I. Troxell presented McLain with the MADD award. The local office noted McLain has made it a priority during his career to find impaired drivers and remove them from the roadways before they can hurt themselves or others.
